Basil's Flame Broiled Chicken & Ribs

Longtime Bradenton restaurant. Great food. Meat is flame broiler. Reasonably priced.

I have eaten here once. It was good, but to be honest and no offense to the restaurant, I can make chicken just as good. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. I have no complaints. If I wanted flame broiled chicken and didn't feel like making it myself, I'd go back. I'd have to say it's probably a healthier option than many others in the area are

My wife and I eat here at least twice a week. We own our business and are in customers homes all day and ANY chance we’re in the neighborhood, we stop. They know what we eat...2-piece white, add a breast, mashed and baked beans, small drink and a rice pudding. Under $20 and it’s real food. Being on the road all day, we spend a lot of time in convenience stores and in fast food restaurants. It’s a refreshing break to stop in and see Nick or Vasilly. It really is very, very good food. Family recipes over 3 generations and quality ingredients ensure you’re going to get a very good meal every time you go. Been trying to get that marinade recipe for years, but he won’t share it with me. Guess I’ll just have to always get my chicken from these guys. Bottom line...stop by for a really good meal.

I love flame-broiled chicken and always tend to find some tasty independent source within my area. Thanks to the review of my latest Yelp bud, I found this place today and tried it out.

The chicken was just right. The ribs were juicy and messy. Yum.

The price was right and the people were friendly as well.

What's not to love?
