    Great place .Food is excellent. Service is great. We stumbled on Wheat &Water 3 years ago and make a point to visit when we come to Sarasota.

    Inside or outside on the patio...Soup, salad, Duckhorn, sourdough bread, and some gnocchi!!! Manny the server is the man! My wife, son and I love eating here... best part is it's within walking distance! ????????????????????

    This was our first time at Wheat + Water, and we were pleased! We chose to sit outside, which turned out to be a popular option with both families and couples.

    We started with the Calamari, which was delightful. Our entrees were the Lasagna Bolognese and the Shrimp and Scallops Adriatica. Both were delightful.

    Our server Stephanie was attentive and helpful, and we look forward to seeing her again.

    This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. It is such a quaint little place with staff who become your friends by the end of the evening. The food omg the food is so delicious!!! It is truly authentic Italian food and you won’t be going home still hungry that’s for sure! The portions are great size. I do recommend making a reservation if you want to try this place. They do welcome walk ins but it’s always packed! So skip the wait and call in ahead!

    Excellent aroma upon entering .. ambiance medium... announced we had friends joining us and they waited a long time and were not directed to table .. after that uncomfortable start evening picked up.. great variety of choices .. all very much liked our dinners ... we will be back
