Cottonmouth Southern Soul Food

Food was great, we tried the Crab cake (very filling) we tried the crab bisque, great flavor w just a good amount of curry. Fried green tomatoes were delicious! This was on the brunch menu, we will definitely come back to try their dinner menu. The staff was very pleasant, and we didn’t have to wait for anything.

Superb ambiance, great service by wait staff that knows how to wear their face masks the right way.... AMAZING shrimp and grits and a Banana creme brulee that was so good I ordered a second one after I finished the first!!
Live music out back was so great...Applebutter Express is a great local band... The sound was perfect! If i could rate more than 5 stars I would!!

This was an interesting experience. The atmosphere is cool and relaxing and a great place to hang. Our server was friendly but she struggled to keep up throughout our visit, although to be fair it was busy. She needed help though.

The food was varied. The calamari app was wonderful, a unique twist on a usually boring app. The crab bisque was too heavy and overwhelmed the delicate crab. The tater tots were underwhelming but the Caesar with hearts of palm was fresh and not drowning in dressing (thank you!) . The menu is creative and our overall experience was good. We would definitely come back.

I had heard from a connoisseur that they had the best crab cakes. Still I was shocked how good it was. WOW.
I went with a party of 6 for their live music on Sunday mornings - everyone was super happy with the food, and the music.

If I could rate it 10 stars I would. I would eat anything that Dave has created. His food is a work of art, this restaurant shows just how much food is art. It is a beautiful setting, music, the Village of The Arts is a beautiful setting for such a lovely restaurant. Everything on the menu looks amazing. I will be trying every dish!
