DimSum King

With the important caveat you have to ask for rice with entrees, we’re big fans of this place. Premium meat used, great recipes and tasty, tasty dim sum. For a great dessert / pallet cleanser, try Portuguese creme brûlée. Great food.

I LOVE this place. Been eating asian food for years, in many places, and finally got a good one in Sarasota. This place is the Mercedes Benz of Dim Sum. It is so good I have dared to eat some of the I would never try at other places, and it was good too. Still haven't tried the chicken feet, probably never will since there are so many other things I know I love here.

Such a treat to have this excellent restaurant in Sarasota. The duck is amazing. However we love anything on the dim sum menu. Sesame balls, crispy pork buns, shumai, even chicken feet in black bean sauce. Yum! Just go.

Nice little Dim Sum shop. Pretty clean and good service. There’s a decent selection on the menu. The dim sum are authentic and very tasty. Decent prices and quantity. Highly recommend this place.

It is a big name to call themself the "King", especially, Yummy House is nearby and they have been dominated the area for a while. I think now we have a new sheriff in town. The staff is super friendly and the food is authentic. Bummer they ran out of salty egg lava bun, was really looking forward to that and was told it ran out since yesterday. Perhaps it is still new, some dim sum dishes which you need to order from the kitchen, so it is a bit confusing. Better to grab a dim sum menu with pictures and ask the server. It is a big plus that the tea is served with tea leaves instead of tea bag. It is not a big restaurant, and it is very trendy and clean. A new business with quality authentic Chinese Dim Sum and cuisine, expect large crowd on the weekend. Better be there early if you don't want to wait. For now, it is 5 stars, hopefully they are able to keep up the high standard they set themself up to.
