Godson's Pizza House

Great service & delicious food! The BBQ chicken pizza was amazing. Also very much enjoyed the manicotti, cheese bread, fried zucchini, and Greek salad. We had a lactose free person with us and they made a special pizza just for them too.

Fried mushrooms are a must! This is quickly becoming one of our weekly go to restaurants.

I was raised with Demetrio’s restaurant. I got the chance to try Godson’s last evening via take out. I now live in St. Pete and I UBER drive. So, I stopped last evening to try this new place.

I wasn’t comparing it to Demetrio’s. I want to let you know when I took of bite of the sauce I thoroughly enjoyed it.

However, I was severely disappointed. I had literally no sauce to go with the amount of spaghetti I had. This was disappointing completely. So I got to eat 1/3 of the pasta with the amount of sauce that you gave on my order.

Will I try you again, I’m sure I will but if an order comes that lite of sauce on the order I will not. I as an UBeR driver suggest people to places to eat in the Bradenton and Sarasota and Palmetto to area. I sure hope I can continue to support your business with suggestion your restaurant.

Saw that someone new has occupied this Bradenton landmark so figured we would give it a try. Service was quite great; super attentive and friendly. Food was fairly meh. Portion size for the price on the fries was stingy, chicken sandwich wasn’t bad, but nothing special and the pizza was ok, but the crust was somewhat bland.
We chalked it up to new-opening kinks that hopefully will work themselves out over time.
It was a solid 2.5 star visit for us, but we’ll round up in hopes of a better experience next time. Best of luck to the team. We’re pulling for you. 👍🏼

Some of the best pie in town, definitely worth stopping in and trying. Really good cocktails, and the pizza is just phenomenal from the sauce to the cheese to the crust. My go to place for pizza. I finally found a pizza place that’s really good and you can count on it every single time!
