    The best friend chicken in Sarasota! The clam chowder is excellent, too. Always consistent. Did I mention the pies....Great job and thanks for the hospitable service!

    This place used to be the best place to eat a home cooked meal in all of Manatee county. It has really gone down hill. The pies are really there best reason to eat here. Try the coconut cream. It's just unique in the world. I have never had anything like this pie!

    Brought a group and the staff couldn't have been nicer. All meals were good sized portions and the slice of pie for dessert was generous also. Very satisfied. Still have to go back for the liver and onions.
