MISSION BBQ

First time today at this location and I am very excited about it being here! This is closer than the other one in Bradenton that we've been going to. If you haven't been you need to try it. Wonderful brisket and corn bread - that's my fav and what I usually have but also tonight tried their brownies and brought home some bread pudding! 😋
Staff are wonderful and in case you don't know they donate funds regularly. We've been fans for awhile now. Your choice of 6 BBQ sauces.

This was our first visit to Mission BBQ. It is located on University Parkway in the same shopping area as Kohls and the Fresh Market. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly. You order at the counter and they call your name when your food is ready. We just sat down when they called my name. We had pulled pork sandwiches and made it an XL combo for $4, which added a side and a fountain drink. They serve Pepsi products, lemonade and sweet tea. There was a choice of 6 sauces on each table! We found it very tasty and a perfect portion size. We lived in Memphis for 11 years so we are pretty picky about BBQ! Worth a visit!

I enjoy good food fun food. Great place to go if u have a tastebud for good old southern food and a love for smoky barbecue ribs/ chicken/ cornbread/ bread pudding/ all the great southern . And friendly team to serve you. I had a blast. I think it’s better to eat in.

Great bbq with lots of flavors both sweet and spicy hot. My wife and kids loved the French fries and the ranch. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful through the entire process. It’s a great place to bring the family for a good meal and laidback atmosphere.

Our family had a wonderful time with the Law Enforcement Family Night/Pre-Grand Opening. The workers were very courteous, helpful and professional. What I love the most is that this franchise genuinely support our US Servicemen and Blue Family (A restaurant you would hardly see in the State where we just moved from-CA) The place was filled with numerous Military and Law enforcement memorabilia which definitely gave a very patriotic ambiance. Co-owner “Bill” was also very nice as he greeted us on our table. He even gave the kids complimentary desserts. What an awesome guy! So far, all the dishes we ordered were very tasty and delicious: Baby back ribs, brisket, jalapeño cheese sausage and half BBQ chicken. The kids also loved their sliders: Turkey, chicken, and pork. We will definitely patronize this place. Glad to have Mission BBQ restaurant nearby. We will definitely be back soon to try out other dishes in their menu.
