We had a fine experience at the Swordfish. I had Oysters Rockefeller, (a little light on spinich), otherwise very tasty, and a blackened Grouper sandwich, cooked to perfection. I had Key Lime Pie for dessert which was tangy good. There was a live blues band playing on the patio (on Thursdays) to provide ambiance along with the sunset. We will return.
Delish food. Even better service! We went on a Sunday and were treated to top notch service. The best parts about Sundays are all you can eat crab legs!
My husband and I are locals and love this place, however, the chef seems to be heavy handed with the old Bay. The shrimp burger and grouper cakes were loaded with old Bay. That's all we tasted. And beware of the appetizers. Most fried to include the sea scallops wrapped in bacon. They came out hard as rock and tiny tiny. If you're visiting give it a try. Nice local flavor, atmosphere and entertainment.
Love this place. The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. The snow crabs are one of my favorites. And make sure you get a slice of the Lemon Merengue Pie! DELICIOUS!
I didn’t realize everything was fried. Wow.
The gator bites were okay. They definitely had a different taste, though most of what I tasted was fried batter. The shrimp, scallops, fish, and other items all tasted good. The servers were friendly and helpful. The prices seemed a bit high for a place sitting on the water, though I do understand seafood costs money.
I’m willing to go back, though I’d rather go to Crabby Bills for seafood.
