The Ugly Grouper

The Ugly Grouper is a fun, funky place that welcomes all ages. There are games, a band, televisions and downhome food. The signature grouper taco is a masterpiece and delicious as well. Although the restaurant area is outside, most of it is covered to protect from sun and rain!! A fun place for all!!!!!

Great food and service! Love the atmosphere and outdoor games. This place has had a complete makeover since the last time I visited. Nice to see the new owners have invested a lot of money as I definitely will be back!!????????

not bad place to eat. Some got salads with fish and grouper tacos . Also Shrimp tacos. Grouper tacos were good different style with cheese melted on them. Service was good.

We wee worried about bar food served on a picnic table near the side of a road not being up to standard. Not here. The food was a pleasant surprise. Everything was great. Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Very distinct and excellent flavoring. Staff was running to serve lots of customers but still very friendly and attentive. Fun atmosphere for the whole family. Lots of kids playing the swinging fish game.

Had dinner there last night. Had the jambalaya, fried shrimp, blackened grouper sandwich. All were good meals. Very informal setting. Good background music. Would be nice if they had Fair priced side salads to complement the meals.
