This is the absolute best place to grab a drink and get a small meal anywhere in Lakewood Ranch. They have the largest selection of craft beers that have been hand picked by the manager Travis. Josh makes chef quality custom specials that are so delicious. It’s a small place where you get a personal experience as opposed to feeling like you’re just being herded through. All of the staff is fantastic. They have acoustic style music on the weekends that is usually quite memorable as well. They also have a selection of games you can play including three different sizes of Jenga. There are a few outdoor tables. They also offer stainless steel growlers and very high quality hats and T-shirt’s. Whenever I’m in town this is a must visit place for me.
I wasn't here long, but I will go back. It is nice inside and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Not loud. The guy behind the bar was a nice asset for the place. I had a great beer at his recommendation. Cheers
Love the wide selection of beers they have and the set up of the place is awesome! The staff was really cool and fun to talk with. We tried multiple beers and weren’t disappointed by any of them and the nachos made the visit even better. Would recommend the place to anyone who loves craft beer like I do. I will definitely be back here when I’m visiting the area again.
Knowledgeable, friendly and fun staff. About 50 varieties of craft beer, hard ciders, wine and light bites to enhance the flavors. Indoor/Outdoor seating and dogs welcome. Trivia on Tuesday nights and board games to play with your friends. Definitely a favorite place to chill out and people watch.
As an aspiring beer connoisseur who lives nearby, I wish I could give this place a better review. The prices are just too damn high plus the auto tip options are 20%, 25% when the beers are $7-$8.
Whatever happened to a dollar a drink? Doesn't seem fair to tip the same as I would a waitress who is serving me at my table. And if you get a Growler, that's >$7tip.
Also, there doesn't appear to be any regular clientele so it always feels a little cold and awkward compared to other bars. It's not the "where everybody knows your name" ????Cheers atmosphere, if you get me. I also wish the food was better.
