Swampy's Bar & Grille

Sat on the deck on the CRYSTAL CLEAR river while eating my Seared Tuna Salad w/ honey mustard dressing and catching up with an old friend. Saw a hawk rest on a tree above and a grey heron do a little fishing. Deck tables have umbrellas or you can sit on the covered porch. Great food and beautiful atmosphere. A few paddleboarders and tubers passed by as we ate. ❤

A description of an ideal spring day in Florida: raft down Rainbow Springs, soaking up the sun and enjoying nature. Dock. Go to Swampy’s for home cooked Cajun food. The setting is absolutely perfect for this cuisine. River views and boaters float by as you enjoy gator bites and fried seafood. Highly recommended.

Great place to grab a bite. I've been here a few times now and the food is always good. The service depends wholly on how busy they are. Weekends are nice, they had a live band when I was there but they also are quite busy and parking can be a major problem on these days too. Otherwise absolutely no complaints, great place to swing in for some food with a great view of the rainbow river.

We’ve eaten here twice now and I wanted to wait to make my review to compare the two visits. First off, food, atmosphere, and waitstaff are all great. The food out times are pretty slow but if you order and appetizer it comes out quickly and always yummy so it’s makes the wait easier. If you order from the bar, it will probably take a while. The drinks are always good though. Both times we’ve been it’s been packed so wait times have been expected and we don’t mind. If you want quick service, quick food and quick drinks this is probably not the place for you. If you expect it to be busy and plan accordingly you’ll have a great time and eat some even better food!

My preferred place for tasty Cajun food. Super place to meet and chat with coworkers. I'll return friends next time. This place has a good atmosphere. Like a restaurant in Washington I loved.
