Townsend Cove

If you are looking for posh and sophisticated, keep driving. If you want friendly, good food, family atmosphere, stop by. It is ok if you aren't from around here. You can find good fun conversations, and a variety of food options...and desserts. Oh, I haven't had them all, but many are home-made... not bought if you know what I mean! Reasonably priced, great portions, and friendly service. Highly recommended.

I have eaten breakfast there for years and was never disappointed. For the first time since it turned into townsend cove I stopped for dinner and got gator tail and fried shrimp. Gator tail was 7 out of 10 and fried shrimp was a hard 1 out of 10 very small and moosh when you bit into it. They need to step there game up if there going to serve seafood. You can drive 15 min to melrose or palatka and get way better seafood for the same price.

Great, friendly, fast service in a down home atmosphere. Food is always fresh and delicious. 😊

In a world increasingly dominated by corporate restaurant chains, finding this locally owned and operated place feels like a blessing. Excellent food, affordable prices, great customer service in a comfortable and clean environment all situated under a magnificent oak tree. The breakfast we enjoyed here was simply superb! Can't wait to come back again!

I’ve been wanting to try Townsends Cove since it opened, since I already knew they had a great cook. I was so pleased with everything! We ordered gator meat, shrimp and grits, mozzarella sticks and the kids chicken tenders. Everything tasted amazing 🤩 (we ate two pieces of gator before I took the photo)
