(April 9, 2019, 5:33 pm)Had the beef brisket dinner. Baked beans and coleslaw as sides with cornbread. Brisket was good was thinly sliced. But overall good. Coleslaw was how I enjoy it a little sweet. Great experience. Wanted to try a new bbq restaurant was glad I chose this restaurant.

(March 22, 2019, 1:01 am)My boyfriend and I have been there 3 times now , and every time has been amazing. Servers are always friendly and attentive , but not annoying. Food is always hot and delicious. The complimentary ice cream cone makes us come back! It’s our new favorite lol. We have pretty high expectations for restaurant and we’re pleasantly surprised by southern pig and cattle! Thanks y’all.

(March 21, 2019, 12:59 pm)Salad and soup bar fresh, a nice variety, clean, and tasty--except for the potato and pasta salads. Corn chowder was amazing, hamburger steak was a little dry and the pulled pork was very good. We brought home a bottle of their awesome sweet BBQ sauce.
