Ivy on the Square

We waited about 20 minutes for a table, which was fine, however my order did not arrive as requested. Sent it back waited for a new plate. By the time it arrived my family was done eating and I lost my appetite. They were nice enough to compensate me by deducting my food from the bill. Family did say the food was great.

I really like the atmosphere. We had a large lunch party so we got a customized menu. Overall we all had a great time!

Great food, good adult beverage selection, lovely eclectic design. French onion soup was superb. Lunch was busy with a wait for dining room seating so we sat at a high top table in the bar area. Comfortable with good service.
Menu design was a bit difficult to read and use. Business luncheon or visitors to Ocala made up the lunchtime crowd.

The Southern shrimp creole and grits was Amazing! Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. I will definitely being coming back again.

I thought architecture of the building interior is pleasing to the eyes. Not a fan of the exposed ductwork. There appetizers were excellent. The bacon wrapped figs are a must try. My mouth is watering as I write about them almost two week later. I can't wait to get back to experience a complete meal.
