The Egg and I Ocala, FL

This place has delicious food. I got the French toast and it was absolutely amazing. The only thing is it's a bit expensive for my taste overall it's just fried bread with some egg. Where I sat was next to a window and there were actually small ants along the window inside of the restaurant which is not the most appealing thing to see when you try to eat. But the staff was very friendly. The parking lot for the side of the plaza is a bit small and sometimes can be hard to find a close spot especially if someone with you has trouble walking it's also on a hill.

Salad greens for breakfast? I'll try it. Turns out it works. Had a lovely spinach, mushroom and bacon (crispy like I asked for) omelette. Greens had a lightly sweet vinaigrette dressing. Real flavoured creamer for the coffee. Lots of healthy options. Not rabbit food though, you get a good meal. Was very good, hubby was pleased as well. We will be back.

We were going somewhere else for lunch but we walked by this place and noticed it is locally owned and decided to give it a try. We ended having a delicious breakfast. You can tell ingredients are fresh. We met the owner and he was very friendly and open to feedback. Definitely coming back, hopefully soon! Too bad we don't live in the area.

Great food. Really nice healthy options. Nice place for Meet-Ups and meetings. Fast and friendly wait staff.

Great omelets with super fresh ingredients. Great service. Not your usual greasy spoon breakfast. Bottomless high quality coffee. Not too noisy for quiet conversation.
