Diner on the Square

Even though they weren't that busy at 11am, the waitresses were still flying around the dining room giving excellent service. The food came quick and tasted amazing. Very good prices compared to big chain restaurants of the same nature. 10/10

Very good food and service. My first time going there. I will definitely make this my go to breakfast spot in Ocala.

It was our first visit and our server Kim was awesome. You never know what the protocol is in a new place, but she was busy busy running around and still yelled out to us.. Hi folks welcome, sit anywhere you like. She was very attentive, explained the menu and specials without being asked, our food came out exactly as ordered and was delicious and she made sure we had everything we needed without asking her (steak sauce, ketchup, extra napkins, silverware) and kept our drinks full. Delicious down home cooking. The dessert that day was pineapple upside down cake and it was so good it was like my grandma baked it. Daily specials, breakfast and lunches. They close before dinner but if you want an early dinner they have things like pork chop platter, coconut shrimp dinner etc. We'll be going back for sure. Affordable too.

Always enjoyed the place when it was Richards...new name and new owners....same cook and wait staff. Food is good, home cooking. Menu is limited but they have a chalk board full of specials. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. My husband always orders the chicken and dumplings...even for breakfast!
