Fired Up BBQ company

Fired Up BBQ is our new favorite local BBQ spot! Tried it for lunch for the first time today after driving past it daily and always seeing a good number of cars in the parking lot. We were greeted by Kathy, who instantly made us feel like family. She is super friendly and helpful. We got pulled pork sandwiches and a few different sides; everything was excellent. My favorite part was the homemade BBQ sauces you can choose from. The Carolina Gold was tangy and delicious. There was also a very generous amount of pulled pork in our sandwiches, and the pork was tender and flavorful. We sat at the outdoor picnic tables and soaked up all the great smells and flavors! We will definitely go back! Fired Up BBQ is an awesome local business to support!

So Tammy and I took the day off today we always wanted to try that famous big Lee’s barbecue and we also been hearing a lot about Fired up about barbecue so we decided we would go get a pound of brisket at both places and try for ourselves.
We went to Big Lee’s first we got there when they first opened there’s a few people in line and everything is sold separately and no sides included. So we got a pound of brisket at Lee’s and a pulled pork barbecue sandwich. So we sat in the parking lot tried the brisket and tried the pulled pork both were very good very good quality meat barbecue sauce was delicious but they barely give you any even when you go up and ask for a side of barbecue sauce that little cup is 1/4 full. The food was hot and very good but we were disappointed that Lee’s did not have green beans or mac & cheese. We then took a little drive over to fired up about barbecue we ordered brisket and it came with two sides we got green beans and mac & cheese it was also very nice to have a nice place to go in and sit very well decorated air-conditioned very cute country style sitting area they also had sitting area outside. After trying the food we absolutely love the brisket it actually had more flavor better seasoning than big Lee’s the mac & cheese was to die for and green beans was delicious. It was also nice to have a nice bathroom to use for the customers and of course the employees to wash their hands. After trying both I must say both was good quality but hands down Fired Up About BBQ is our choice. We will be back.

Great, straightforward bbq. The ribs had a perfect bite and the sides were excellent. Very friendly staff as a bonus. Get there early, they ran out of brisket by the time I got there.

Visited for 1st time & the food was great! Had the brisket, which was lean, moist & flavorful. The owner let us try their mac & cheese & ribs because he said he wanted to see the smile on our faces. Wow! Best we've ever had. We will definitely come back for that. To top it off, the establishment was clean & the owners were friendly.

Wooooooooo - delicious BBQ served up by some of the nicest people around! Mrs. Kathy and the gang do a great job on food and service. I opted for the brisket combo with Texas beans and Mac and Cheese and it was all delicious. I shared with my daughter and still had a little bit left over for another meal.

If you're into BBQ, especially the good kind found on the side of the road, you need to give this place a shot. They do have indoor dining available or you can sit at a picnic table outside or take it to go.
