I have been here 6 times since my original review and it is always great. I see reviews like this Austen Wilson and others and they are either competition or just trolls it's really sad to see this as this is by far the best fine dining restaurant in Ocala. All I can say is WOW .. I got to eat there last night during their soft opening and it was the best meal I have had in a long time. The restaurant itself is stunning with horse paintings and beautiful antler chandeliers in the bar area dining room. The bar is beautiful and comfortable for a drink and dinner and the service was impeccable. I started with an Old Fashion and a starter of Scallops it was perfect. I ordered a ribeye for main with side of spinach and mushrooms and it was cooked perfectly and finished it off with a delicious mixed berry cobbler. What a great night and a great place much needed in this area for fine dining..absolutely loved it!
Remington's is a must go! The food is amazing and cooked to perfection. The staff is very attentive and awesome. The drinks and desserts are delicious. We will definitely be back! I recommend that you make a reservation, we walked in, gave them our name, and was sat at our table immediately!
Visiting from NC and it was recommended that we eat here from a couple that we met in Ocala. They mentioned it was fairly new and a great place to eat. They weren’t wrong! We were greeted by the Director of First Impressions and seated promptly. We chose the bar as we normally do. We were greeted there by Lucy and she was VERY knowledgeable. She gave us some recommendations and we chose to start with the Goat Cheese bruschetta. 🤤 We were both very impressed!! For our main we decided on the Cowboy Ribeye, Scalloped Potatoes, & Brussels. All done very well. They even let us pick out choice of steak knife. The Ribeye was cooked a perfect medium and seasoned just right. You could still taste the meat and weren’t over-powered by seasoning. The Brussels were tender, crisp, and flavorful and the scalloped potatoes had just the right amount of cheese. By far this was my favorite dining experience while visiting Ocala. If you’re trying to decide over Remington’s or Stirrups at the WEC I HIGHLY recommend you take the extra 7 minute drive to Remington’s. You’ll be glad you did.
Pro Tip: They have an Old Fasioned flight. Get it!!
Had a reservation for this new steak house and ended up choosing the bar seats. Bar seats are first come, first serve deal and by 5:30pm it was packed.
Cocktails were delicious!
Amazing service 😄
Bread was served hot and right out of the oven.
Actually, everything we had was very tasty.
Goat cheese flatbread, lobster croquettes, French onion soup, wild mushroom risotto,
baby gem Caesar and the burger….yum
I’m really glad there is another great place to dine at when I come visit Ocala.
If I could give Remington’s more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I dined there this evening and I can honestly say it met our expectations and then some! Donte was our server and was amazing! The food was absolutely exceptional and worth every penny! The atmosphere was great, and service was in a timely fashion especially considering it was dinner time on a Friday night. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer, and then my husband had the filet and I had the scallops along with the lobster/shrimp Mac and cheese. Absolute heaven! Then we topped it off with desert. I can hardly wait to go back! I’m so glad this place is only 5 minutes from our farm! We will be regulars!
