Gator Joe's Beach Bar & Grill

Loved the atmosphere and service. Great spot to relax and have drinks. Would have given 5 stars but my husband's chicken had a long strand of black hair literally wrapped around it. Major turn off.

The food was good. Just don't eat outside at dusk because you'll get attacked by mosquitos. It's on the water. We had to move inside. They also don't carry frog legs anymore, but their gator bites were really good. It's a very laid back place.

Great little beach bar. Went with family and enjoyed the beautiful weather outside while enjoying good beverages. I had the chicken wings which i thoroughly enjoyed. Perfect spicy temperature. The New England Clam Chowder was just ok. It was served in a bread bowl. I found it to be runny and filled with more potatoes than i would have preferred. The server was pleasant. My family is very fun and easy going so you would have to provide awful service for a mediocre tip. The red fish sandwich was dry. Very dry. In fact it was so tough that my aunt Janet needed a real knife to cut through the sandwich. The plastic silverware just didn't cut it. ????. I would go back definately for the fun environment and try something else on their menu. The decor was adorable!!!! A big huge gator outside was a picture taking moment. The scenery was beautiful.

Had a nice visit with out if town cousins. A great meal and dessert! A very relaxed atmosphere. They were having a band from 4 til 8 tonight. Didn't know that until our way out. I think that would be a great time. Oh, and our server was awesome.

My new favorite beach bar that's near by. Great view of the water with a dock for dinning that goes over the lake. The place is rustic with good to great food, very local with a solo performer on the most popular nights who does beach music and other popular tunes. I like their mussels over pasta, but they have burgers, fish and other popular dishes. A great place for the whole family. A great place to go and see the sun set. They also have a beach with chairs, so bring a suit if you want to go in the water.
