CASA DEL VINO

Silvia and Franco have an amazing gem!
The food prepared by her husband Franco is beyond perfect!
She is an amazing hostess, and along with her son, Marco, they are so well-versed with their wines (and we bought a lot!).
We went with friends last night (and we traveled from Delray Beach and Fort Lauderdale) and had the most amazing dinner - from bresaola with arugula salad to zucchini flower prepared amazingly to spinach and ravioli with an amazing Toscana sauce (made with ground tenderloin and a small amount of tomato sauce) to a beef tenderloin with a red peppercorn dressing - we were in heaven!
A definite must go to restaurant!
And then you can shop for wines and Italian delicacies!

Sylvia and her husband always make me feel at home when I’m here. They have a warm freiendly demeanor that makes you feel welcome and comfortable. They do wine tastings, wine pairing dinners, charcuterie boards and make helpful wine suggestions for taking some of their unique selections home. You can tell they take care I’m each of their selections and only stock products they love.

This place is not a typical restaurant or wine shop, once you enter you will live a unique experience.
The wine selection is magnificent, the food as well. The service is superb!

We had heard about this fabulous Italian restaurant from friends in the Jupiter area and caught a glimpse of this cute little restaurant tucked away in a small strip plaza. We decided to call the evening before we were leaving to go back North to see if they had any reservations available for that evening. We learned that the menu was a full dining experience and unfortunately, although very interested, just wanted something light before we started our three day drive north.

A few minutes after talking to the owner, Sylvia, she called back to say she had discussed with her husband that if we could come in by 5:30, we could be accommodated with lighter fare.

Well, we’re we in for a wonderful surprise when we walked into this cozy inviting restaurant. The wine list was extensive, from small batch vineyards in Italy, the food was so fresh and authentic, like we were in Italy.

I am looking forward to our return to Hobe Sound later this year and to visit Casa Del Vino for their full dinner service.

I little visit to Italy in Hobe Sound. Eccellente!! A wonderful meal prepared by Franco and Silvia. Great wine, great dinner, 4 courses. Everything was perfecto! Probably the best Tiramisu I have ever had. For those of you who know real Italian food this place is a must.
