Pastaio Handmade Pasta & Pizza | Palm City

Wonderful inside. They have very nice appetizer specials that end at 6. I have heard many people talk about how this Palm City location is far better than the one in Tradition but I personally cannot attest to that. I got the whipped ricotta and bruschetta. I also included the meatball w/salad. The food overall is very tastey and full of flavor. Shelby does a fantastic job keeping the energy up and making sure everything is going well.

Excellent restaurant. Food, drinks, and service were all perfect. The gnocchi was some of the best we’ve had. Really great quality food across the board. Vito our server was attentive, friendly, and pleasant. I highly recommend this place.

Was quite amazed at the quality of the food extremely well prepared and on point. The pasta was wonderful and home made . The clams casino were amazing and loaded with bacon and just wonderful. The pizza was also high quality and delicious we chose the Roman style square and thin . The server was an Italian gentleman and girls you make the best servers always . Guys we are not nearly as good this guy was absolutely the best server we ever had period. They gave us fresh bread with olive oil n cheese n spices on it absolutely 💯 delicious.
The costs were a tad more than traditional pizzeria but this place is NOTHING LIKE A PIZZERIA. Not that pizzerias are bad I love em too. Some awesome ones .

Pastaio means pasta maker; all the pasta noodles are made fresh daily. The food is authentic made from scratch Italian. The lasagna is terrific with flavoring of fennel. Try the SPAGHETTI AMATRICIANA, the pancetta and onions are wonderful. Also, the ZUPPA DI PESCE was excellent with all fresh seafood! The side salad is huge with wonderful balsamic dressing. And the brick oven pizza is excellent- I get the plain cheese. I am not sure where the low stars came from by other reviewers; this is not olive garden so if you don't want made-from-scratch authentic Italian, this place is not for you. Also, the server Helia (Ally) is exceptional and a delight. Also, the coffee is really good. My only request would be to enhance offerings on the wine menu (but that is minor).

Some of the food was very good and a couple of other plates were eh at most. The service was a bit slow and I can understand a new staff member and even establishment. With that said a rule for me is keep my drinks flowing even if the food is late if my cup is never empty then it’s something to overlook. Management and our waitress were friendly and courteous. I did want to point out I am not sure if he’s a food runner, bus boy, or other but we asked him nicely that since one of our food items was not out yet can he check on that for us he said “I can’t check on that because I’m not your waiter” hmmm ok a better response would have been I’m not your waiter however I’ll have them check on it for you. This place is pricey we expect 5 ⭐️ service.
