    Its always a pleasure to eat at Cracker Barrel. We make a stop here sometimes to meet family or friends. Good service. Great food.

    The menu always has just the right item to make my tummy happy. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. The store is great to walk around after a long drive. Gets the blood flowing and is a great distraction when more driving is necessary. Overall the atmosphere is warm and comfortable.

    Usually I would give 5 stars. But on this visit I was served old and cold biscuits and corn bread. The broccoli was cool and the mashed potatoes were stiff and weren't even warm. The chicken fried steak was the same. I suspect the food had been leftover from lunch. I was there about 3 pm. Upon request the waiter did get newly cooked food. By the time I got my new food my wife had completed eating. This is not what Cracker Barrel is about. I've visited the corporate offices in Lebanon, Tennessee and I'm sure they aren't aware of this kind of service and food being served. So beware. We all deserve better.

    I always enjoy Cracker Barrel... ESPECIALLY when I have a gift card! For me it's an enjoyable atmosphere of good eating with friendly staff aiming to please. I'm never disappointed when I visit a Cracker Barrel...not hungry? Then you can shop around awhile in the unique store. Thank you Cracker Barrel, "Old Reliable!"
