“Pretty much if you go to one fast food restaurant, you've seen them all. Checkers is no exception. I like the value of most of the items, but they come with a caveat. The beef patties are pretty thin, and they use the lettuce, onion, and tomatoes to "beef up" the burger. But if you're getting two burgers for as low as $3, well what would one expect? I will say that they have really good shakes and ice cream desserts. And fries. Something that is the flagship item on their menu. For a cheap date, or if you have to feed a car full of kids, this would be a good place to go to. Now. The reason for the three stars. The location I normally go to is hit or miss. Today they were short on staff and because of that my lemon slushie didn't make it with my order. They did however give me mine when I went up to the window. My friend's burger was cold, but they remade that as well. So my recommendation is go there if you're short on change, or if you have to buy a ton of food for your miniature army.”

The lady at the front was very nice and patient. The shop was very nicely decorated and not overdone. I ordered the egg foo young. It was delicious and I was stuffed not even halfway through. The best I've ever had.”

“Affordable, no-frills pizza. If that's what you're looking for then look no further. If you're in the mood for a New York style pie, from a small family-owned operation, in the area, that just tastes better; then I'd suggest driving the couple of minutes east of this place to DiPiazza or north to Salvatore. The restaurant is small, they have counter seating which probably fits 6, not comfortably. So, take out or delivery are your main options. The menu is standard Italian menu with the addition of a deep dish option, which isn't seen much in South Florida. The food, probably the most important category, was okay. Not great, not even good; just okay. I ordered standard pepperoni pizza, garlic rolls, and pepperoni/ cheese knots. All was devoid of flavor. The only time I'd come back is to try the deep dish which I didn't order because it takes an hour to cook, standard for deep dish pizza. I do, however, fear that it won't taste like much.”

“For over 10yrs I've been visiting this place, almost every time I'm in Miami. Good food variety and tasty. Cheap money for what you'll get. Don't take no french fries, unless you saw it was just placed. Usually the fries will be cold. I mean for the price...Stop by McDonald's for some hot fresh french fries if that's what you're craving. All by all a good all you can eat Chinese buffet, it caters to my needs.”
