The NEW Refurbished City Hall Bistro Bar!!! NEW owners, New talented staff. What an incredible change. The entire space, including the hotel, was refurbished. The menu has many choices, including kids' meals. The presentation and taste of the food were excellent. Their drinks are delicious. They have a lot to choose from. Their appetizers are excellent. There is such a variety to choose from. They also offer brunch on Sundays with unlimited mimosas or sangria and brunch is from 11am to 4pm. There is something for everyone. Thry offer delivery with Grubhub and UBER Eats. The staff, management, and owners are so welcoming. The staff speaks English (this was an issue in the past with precious owner). You can have an elegant date night or a casual date night. They have live music on select nights. Taco Tuesday's are amazing and they have drink specials. They offer daily specials and soup of the day.
Had visited this restaurant when under previous ownership and loved it!
Just had Sunday Brunch at the bar (newer ownership) and it was amazing!
The brunch menu has something for everyone and the food is delicious.
What brings it all together though for a truly enjoyable experience is the staff!
Namely, Bartender Tina is not only gorgeous and personable, but she knows how to make every drink a truly unique experience! Her recommendations for food are perfect!!! But her own "Tina creations" drinks take it to the next level!!!
I was visiting from Key West, but Tina will cause me to spend much more time in Homestead!!!
First-time visitor, and we had a blast. The food was amazingly good, and the portions are big. We had some delicious tostones with shrimp, the cuban steak sandwich was very tender, the tuna tartar felt fresh and the loaded nachos was realy loaded.
Emmanuel is the cheff and was very friendly and attentive. The same with Noel who was behind the bar.
Would definitely go back to try the other dishes.
Loved the atmosphere, absolute BEST service, amazing drinks, lovely historic place, elegant decor, felt like I was on vacation in a far away place! Beautiful experience! Try all the drinks!!! The Casper is great for a dessert 🍨
What an amazing experience. The ambiance was lovely. The decor is modern but not over the top. I like the colors and the little details such as the water bottle they bring to the table. We opted for drinks and appetizers because it was our first visit. We ordered City Hall Tostones and they were A1A. Next, we had the Bang Bang Shrimp; First of all, they were jumbo shrimp and lightly breaded. We asked for spicy and they were perfect. We also ordered the pork potstickers, and Ultimate Nachos. WOW! Those nachos took the prize! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the beans were so tender. The ground beef was very tasty, too. The potstickers were better then the ones we’ve had at Asian restaurants and the dipping sauce had me licking my fingers. All the food was very elegantly plated and very delicious. Oh! We had drinks! I had a Gin Dirty Martini and my husband had a Lime in the Coconut. They were delicious and not very pricey. Overall, it was a wonderful night out. I highly recommend this restaurant. We needed this down in Homestead.
I forgot to mention the service. The servers were very attentive but not overly so. They made great recommendations and the food came out rather quickly. They paid great attention to detail and we really appreciated them. We’ll be back soon.
