To me it's very greasy and nothing really stood out other than its super cheap prices. However, staff was friendly and helpful and we got the busser to translate to our waitress. The baby back ribs are so tender, they fall off the bone. Chicken is smokey and moist. The brisket is tender with a nice bark. And let me tell you about their numerous side dishes. If you like collard greens, try them here. And splash on the spicy vinegar. SO good. Sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, black-eyed peas, crispy hush puppies...and the list goes on. Servers are friendly and know the area if you need sightseeing suggestions. Save room for pie or banana pudding.”

“The food was delicious! The atmosphere was fun with the decor and live singer. I took a peek at the setup outside and that was really cool too, especially for parties. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was slow. I didn't mind as I wasn't in a rush, but if I had other plans after, I would have needed to give myself at least 2 hours to get out of there. As long as you have time, I definitely recommend White Lion Cafe. So glad to have found this gem!”

“Personally I didn't like the beer. That's not to say it wasn't good beer. The descriptions matched the taste and there is plenty of variety. “For boyfriend’s sister decided to celebrate her birthday here. We had never been before. I have to say we had a great time. We bought weekend deals online for 2. The manager Stacy was great!! She was able to help another person from our party with an issue with her Groupon purchase. We had a couple of bites before going to the bar to start the tasting. To our surprise Stacy was there as well helping out with another manager Tracy. They we lovely! They explained each wine we were tasting and were able to handle our over top group :) I am going AGAIN this weekend with my mom. I know she’ll love this place as much as I did.”

“I love the idea of eating healthy. I'm fine with the prices in some case, however, I hate the fact that the server actually counts the amount of meat, cheese, and Items they put on the Sandwich. They serve so little, that it looks like your eating more bread than anything else, the lack of actual ingredients make the whole experience fall short. A $10 sandwich should be filling, and not feel like your mostly eating bread.”
