We love our time at Eden Roc. Came in for a 1 night staycation to celebrate our anniversary to party at LIV at the Fountainblue. We did not want to stay at Fountainblue however and opted for the quieter Eden Roc. The room was great - we had a high floor ocean front suite with a balcony and obviously the view was great. Room was large enough for 2. Best part was the front desk and concierge staff. Met every request and helped with our experience. I'll stay here again for the same experience in the future. The only negative was a $35 charge for an umbrella on the beach, through which i got burned anyway. I'm thinking given the resort fee and room charge, the umbrella would be included. I dont think they were charging for umbrellas at the pool.
My wife and I stayed here for several nights and it was our first time experiencing Miami. The beach was our focus and this hotel does it right. Easy to get to, great service, excellent privacy.
The staff here deserve 10 stars for their efforts. Everyone was friendly and cared about us during our stay. We brought several matters to their attention and we were promptly accommodated (these were not major issues, just little things that made our stay that much more enjoyable). I do wish that there was a fridge available to guests and not just a pre filled mini refrigerator.
The guests were of all age ranges and the hotel does a fabulous job of making all guests feel welcome regardless of the reason for their stay. Business folks, couples, night clubbers, all had what they needed to make their stay perfect.
I would stay at Eden Roc again in a heartbeat and most likely will be the next time we are in Miami. Eden Roc? More like Eden Rocks!
Really nice hotel - one of my favorites on Miami Beach. The ocean view is great at Eden Roc- some hotels say "ocean view," but the view is partial ocean at best. The rooms are pretty modern, clean. The staff by the pool is very nice- liked that there is not loud music by the pool all the time like some hotels in Miami Beach. My only complaint with Eden Roc is that check in is 4pm, and there is little effort made to have a room ready earlier than 4pm.
Solidly above average. The hotel has a laid back, very cool vibe in the lobby. I liked the music. The rooms are reasonably modern and nice. I was surprised the bedspread was wet - maybe the humidity? Or maybe it came out of the dryer a little too soon? AC worked fine. The beach area was beautiful and not too crowded. The only real negative was very mediocre food at all the restaurants, and at exceptionally high prices.
Hotel was stunning. They upgraded our room to have a stunning balcony with views of both the bay and the beach. The lobby bar was beautiful. Towel service was great and the beach was lovely. Would stay here again! Only thing is the room fridge is stocked so you have no where to put your own food/drinks. It would cost an extra $30 to rent a second fridge. The water bottles in the room were never restocked, I had to order them to the room. And ice you also have to order and cannot get yourself. Otherwise hotel is super clean and beautiful!
