Love the atmosphere! The whole idea of having the plates with sushi traveling around in miniature boats is very cool and intriguing. You pick what plate you would like to have and you pay per plate. Prices range from $2 to about $6 depending on what type of sushi you like. I was full with just 3 plates. Would definitely go back. One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is a little small so you may find yourself waiting to be seated. It's worth the wait though.
We have a tradition every week we go to this place. It has very tasty and fresh food, very tasty rolls, especially an octopus salad. Do not pay attention to the interior, the main thing in this place is the special atmosphere of the food! We recommend this tasty place, come early to take a turn.
Great little hole in the wall sushi place at the North end of Miami Beach. Price is really reasonable. Very long wait times
The place is really amazing! Food is good and the service is good as well. I love the idea pf floating food. It gets crowded but everything is amazing!!!
I am sure many people have written their reviews and I am sure my review wont even get read - but I must say that I am overall impressed. The Sushi isn't the best - however the overall experience deserves 5 stars because its a concept that allows you to choose what sushi you want - and the majority of the plates were on par with most Sushi places.
When we arrived we probably waited 15 minutes for a table because the place is quite small and has a oval table with stools around the oval table - the sushi is displayed on boats that sail past you. I have included a video to show the unique experience.
The manager came around to check up on us, and offered us alcohol and we ordered the Saki which was warm and immediately gave you that recognizable buzz.
The seated area was clean and I didn't feel too close to other patrons, our elbows were not touching and I could not hear their conversations. One of the biggest problems I see with this restaurant is that you cant find it - Its not recognizable from the street - it doesn't have a huge sign outside - so you need to know exactly where it is.
Also parking is an issue - I had to park opposite the place in a dark resident road.
Overall I would recommend this place to all my South African friends who come over to the USA for a vacation in Miami. I also recommend this place to my friends because of the overall unique floating sushi concept - you serve yourself- totally awesome.
