Great experience overall. The service is attentive and anticipates anything you might need. The space itself is nice but everything echoes, and you can clearly hear everyone else’s conversations in the room. Better for larger groups in my opinion for that reason. The food itself is really creative, molecular gastronomy. It all looks amazing on the plate. Still everything could have had more flavor. I’d take a worse presentation with better taste any day. I would not repeat for that reason, given the price, but was glad we did it once.

We had the 3-course tasting menu, which turns into 6-7 courses, and it was a delight. You can tell the chef really thought about the flavor profiles and how to extract them in a creative way. The menu is a bit misleading as it does not properly convey the complexity of the dishes. Perhaps this is intentional so that you are impressed with the taste and execution. Well deserving of the Michelin star.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that left me absolutely speechless. The six course menu was well planned and executed to perfection. Each dish was bursting with bold flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The modern French cuisine was a true testament to the serious cooking that was taking place in the kitchen.

What really stood out to me were the bold sauces that accompanied each dish. They were the perfect complement to the already delicious flavors and elevated the dishes to a whole new level. The minimalist decor of the restaurant was a nice touch, but the music was a bit too loud for my liking.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. This restaurant is definitely a real treat for special occasions and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience. If you're a foodie looking for serious cooking at the highest level, this is the place for you.

Tambourine Room was an incredible, Michelin star-worthy, culinary delight. From the moment we walked into the gorgeously decorated speakeasy style room, to the first bites that exploded with deliciousness, through the main courses, other menu “surprises” and delicately plated desserts, we found this experience to be delicious, creative and fun.
Tambourine Room delivers on ambience, taste, presentation, service (from the wonderful team of Vladimir & Brian) and manages to achieve the heights of fine dining (similar to a fine restaurant in NYC or Paris) without ever feeling stuffy or sterile. We can’t wait to return once the menu changes and see what this team has in store next.

The three-course meal was excellent, and we added the steak tartare with caviar that was exceptional. With the amuse bouche, another surprise dish and the petits fours it was more than enough food. The wine pairing was not enough wine for the meal, however. We received a 1 Oz pour on the Bootleg red blend which is a cheap $40 bottle. When spending $450/pp on a meal, a normal 5 Oz pour, or at least a 3 Oz would have been an appropriate gesture. Timo the chef came out as did Alice the manager. The waiter Karim and assistant waiter Nancy were extremely friendly and attentive. I felt bad as we were the only party for the 6 PM sitting, and as other reviewers have mentioned the room is coldly decorated and too bright. There is zero ambiance.
Along with the steak tartare with caviar that was delicious and expertly presented in a Petrossian tin, the wagyu beef with truffled leek was a delight. With an interior design make-over, the experience might work.
