Neat museum right in the heart of South Beach 22 Nd street. Features art work or various artists. Lucky to see Sheila Hicks featured in an evening when the Museum was rented by an organization .
We visited in July when the Sheila Hicks display was in place, it was 10 dollars for the three of us (12 and above) and free for the child. It’s not a big museum but it was quite thoughtful and we had about 50mins of entertainment and they involved reading every plaque in the building. The staff where quite friendly and the four star is based on the small size of the venue
This small museum has recently reopened. We visited when a major exhibit was being installed and they generously charged half price for admission. The exhibits that were available were quite interesting and we were happy to have spent some time away from the bustle of South Beach. Great location at Collins Park. Small and funky art exhibition with a small cafe. It’s a nice break from the frantic South Beach.
Nice small gallery. Art is well presented and can easily see everything in under an hour. Hit and miss on the pieces themselves but that's contemporary art for you. The place was really quiet so we were being followed by security which is a bit unsettling but they were actually really friendly and let us know we could actually interact with a few pieces.
