I loved the music..the keyboards.. the vibe was just right. the variety of food was perfect & you can't beat the view! one of my favorite spots!! :)
Food is outstanding. The music very lively. I would do it again. I understand there is a Sunday Brunch
I hope to make it there. See you then.
This is a throwback restaurant that has maintained it's charm. It is located on Perimeter Rd., on the southbound side of Miami Int'l Airport's landing strip. Local residents may recall this site as a parking lot where you can observe aircraft landings (it's a past time I loved as a child).
The staff is attentive, the food is expertly prepared, well-seasoned and of very good quality with a nice balance of meat, fish and breakfast options for brunch. Our server informed us that the restaurant will soon resume its generous buffet brunch, as well. There is historic aviation memorabilia and a panoramic viewing window that runs the length of the dining rooms. Good for groups, families and dates.
Bonus: $14 bottomless mimosas!
Very unique atmosphere across from the Miami Airport and can see planes take off and land, as well as listen to control tower. The baked salmon and Greek salad were delicious! Go for the Miami spice deal, appetizer/entree/dessert for one price. Key lime pie or coconut flan are worth the splurge
The reception was nice, food was delicious too. Alcohol was open bar and they had great top shelf selections. But to those that are planning to get married there, ask to know the time schedule of the trains that passes behind the tent where the ceremony is held so you can time it well and won't pass especially when the ceremony is starting.
