To the previous reviewer: what restaurant is not crowded on the weekends? Thats what every staff/ bar owner wants, also faster food turn over, fresher foods, etc. Went for the 1st time last night, and the guitarist was there— loved it, and he’d be another reason why we’d go back. Don’t like “loud and crowded” restaurants on the expected times they’d be so? Go to your average overpriced, basic *ss restaurant in Brickell playing top 40s or stay home.
Love this place. The nice hometown vibe miami needs to preserve so badly. Such a happy local hangout. Liza sets the vibe, very warm and welcoming and the food is just awesome. This place is a staple for me.
Always a warm and cozy place that is a secret spot for anyone to enjoy. I've known the owner for a long time, and she always makes everyone feel welcome
We are regulars and headed back tonight as a reward to ourselves from an exhausting day. Happy place, first to mind when describing Barmeli. Relaxed, entertaining, friendly, tasty ad reasonable. The wine list is clearly hand selected, uncommon and delightful. The food while not exotic, is uncommon and unpretentious - absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Go to Barmeli for the food and the vibe.
Greek food here - super tasty. I will probably become a regular. The bill was good for what you get. Similar to a place in Denver I loved.
