El Mago De Las Fritas

The best frita you'll ever find. The former president, Obama, came here; you'll see the pictures on the wall and that says something. As far as the inside goes, it's your typical Cuban cafeteria. Some tables and a bar. The staff was friendly and the food came in a timely manner. This is a place I frequent often and would tell anyone to come here. It's a great time and at a good price.

Very good fritas (Cuban burger). Very nice staff, eager to help and make you feel comfortable. Food in general is very good. Excellent for no frills good food.

I have found El Mago to be a clean, neat place with spotless bathrooms. Once past that initial impression, the service was prompt and efficient, friendly and familiar. Beyond that it only picks up. Being a Cuban myself, I can attest that the quality and flavor of the food is difficult to match. The potages or bean soups really sent me on a flash trip back to the home cooked meals of my childhood. And to conclude, the prices are very moderate. Anyone can afford it and everyone is made to feel welcome.

The BEST Fritas EVER!!! I highly recommend them... Just like Abuelà made them at home... The Cafe is awesome too!... The obeisance was unreal as well... I felt like I was in Cuba again, if only for a few minutes... My wife & I will definitely be back...
