The best restaurant experience my girlfriend and I have ever had. The view was stunning and the food and drinks were spectacular. What really made our experience incredible was our waiter Jose. His recommendations were so spot on we literally started to let him order for us (drinks and food). He was super friendly and listened to what we liked and were looking for and got us exactly what we (didn’t even know!) we wanted, if you go here, I STRONGLY recommend you ask for him. The prawn and flatbread special were so good they made you not want to finish them because you didn’t want the experience to be over. We also had the scallops, trout, fingerling potatoes and baklava, which were all absolutely perfect. We had the Pure Joia, Girl from Miami, and one other one Jose ordered for me that I do not remember (like I said, he took care of us). If you’re in Miami, this is a must do.
Joia Beach was super chill and fun. We were there in the evening for drinks and dinner for a friend's birthday and it was lovely. We liked that it was a mature crowd with great food, full bar and live DJ. Valet parking was $20, so be prepared to pay. Valet does accept credit. We'd be back for another get together!
You’d be surprised to learn that their entire culinary operation runs on food trucks, and for that, I applaud them, but their menu is limited and nothing out of the ordinary. Their selection is just what you would expect from a seafood restaurant, plus the high-end value. If you like being seen and potentially bumping into a few celebrities, this is your spot. You’ll be able to enjoy their Tulum inspired decor, some tribal beats, and their swampy beach access. Though be prepared to make reservations at least 2 months in advance if you want a weekend booking.
