Las Flores Mexican

Was in Miami for 2 days and wanted a quick taco bite. The tacos were great, a bit tiny but I think that’s how they usually come. It had good flavor and the tortillas wasn’t stale. I paid about $19 for 6 pollo tacos.

It was my sons birthday today and we were looking for something to eat this morning and found a new restaurant on google which we later found out opened last November. Las Flores Mexican caught our eye as we were walking around in a plaza after the restaurant we were planning to eat at was closed down. We ordered Sopes (chicken and steak), tacos (steak), quesadilla and a carne asada burrito. Everything was amazing the meat was cooked perfectly the steak was juicy and tender, They gave us chips and salsa as an appetizer and that is the best salsa I’ve ever had and the chips were very crispy as well. Homemade tomatillo sauce and picante as well. Restaurant had a beautiful Mexican ambience with the vibrant colors and Mexican sombreros and flowers hand painted on the walls. The staff was great very friendly and had multiple conversations with us in English and Spanish. The food was so great we ordered 3 more tacos to go. Most menu items are under $10 other than the burritos and Fortas. Definitely will be eating here again in the future. 10 out of 10. not a paid review.

Very good authentic Mexican restaurant. The menu is perfectly simple and the food is made fresh to order. The service was excellent. We with a big group and asked for individual checks and was easily accommodated. Our waitress took our order, one by one, and the food came out in the same order without a hitch. Again, the food was excellent and the service was equally excellent. The restaurant is small and festively decorated. I would definitely recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant.

Friday night, we were hungry and we wanted something quick, easy and close. We've seen Las Flores with many great reviews and decided to check it out. It's located in a strip mall so there was plenty of parking. They have colorful decorations hanging from the ceiling and the staff was very friendly.
When we arrived, we were brought warm chips & salsa. Delicious!

We ordered the guacamole and chips as a starter. The guacamole was one of the best guacamoles we've ever tasted - so smooth and flavourful and we think the chips are home made they were warm and firm and delicious. Great for dipping. It was a nice sized portion, so much we couldn't finish the guacamole so we had to take it home to enjoy it later. We also ordered chicken tacos, steak tacos and a chicken quesidilla with sour cream on the side. The tacos came out HOT (temperature)! The tacos had onions and cilantro- but no cheese or tomatoes/lettuce. We got some lettuce/tomatoes on the side for an extra charge. The tacos are small -ish but good so we ordered another. The food tasted fresh, flavorful and the prices were fair.
From the fresh guacamole to the perfectly seasoned carne asada, everything is made fresh.  Overall, Las Flores is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious authentic Mexican food.
We didn't give them 5 stars because there were mosquitoes flying around while we were eating (I HATE getting bit); m/b bcz they had the walk-up cafecito window opened which also let the warm air in. A little disappointed that the tacos didn't come with lettuce, tomato and cheese on them.
We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back.

Got my food by delivery and it was my first time trying this restaurant. I'm so excited for real Mexican food in the area!!! I will definitely eat this again, hopefully in person.

First, the presentation was amazing. It was packed so nicely and I can tell already that they take pride in their food.

Second, the barbacoa taco is fire🔥. Get it. I can't wait to try other flavors in the future.

I'm super impressed by the size of the guacamole. Generous serving and it's very well seasoned.

I'll be recommending this place to others and can't wait for my husband to try it!
