Last week I had breakfast here and really enjoyed the variety and freshness of the food. My service from Oscar was outstanding! His timing was perfect, our coffee was always hot and never empty. He was so pleasant and kind, and attentive. We didn't have to ask, he was always there to serve, but he did not hover. He made it a cozy, pleasant experience! I wish they had an Le Pain in Raleigh, NC
Service was amazing and the staff was attentive. Had the best yogurt bowl. Also had a Belgian waffle because I couldnt help myself and they looked delicious. Great place for a quick bite and delicious food.
Aesthetically it is a great place. For variety, it is rather fantastic. It really does try it's hardest to make a great and unique experience. But in doing so they overlook some key things.
This is a place that has ONE singular meal in as it's specialty, and that is brunch. However this isn't the kind of brunch where the options are a mix between options that's cater more to the breakfast aspect, and options that appeal more to lunch side of things. Nope. It's all breakfast items in lunch disguises (half the time, sometimes it's just straight up breakfast) and teatime pastry's/snacks; there were no options I could see that would fulfill a lunch, let alone a dinner meal. While the foods' presentation is very pleasing, I found it lacking in taste. Which is all the worse when you consider the price.
This attention to practically all details aside from the taste and service, make this restaurant the ultimate Instagram foodie-pic gold mine. You can't taste in pictures, and people don't need to know how long you waited to for that bland tasting, yet perfect looking, avocado toast and coffee on a tiny bowl (because we NEED to be cool and quirky for the kids).
I would NOT recommend this place as a restaurant. HOWEVER, I would recommend it as a tourist attraction
Amazing healthy food, staff warm and welcoming. Service is just FANTASTIC. Great place to eat well and hang out. Honestly one of the best places in the Grove !
