(June 10, 2023, 8:13 pm)When it comes to a home away from home meal, I recommend the kitchen at Madruga Cafe. I have been coming here for years and today I had the usual. I haven't had this since 2017. Still as good as it was 6 years ago. Nothing fancy inside and a small place; but sitting on the atoll is a must. That's old skool.

(February 13, 2023, 2:16 am)Found this gem after leaving MIA for a drive to the Keys. It lived up to its 5 stars. If you're looking for fancy this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for real home cooked food you won't be disappointed. It was as if we were guests at Alberto and Aida's home. Great conversation and great food. Aida's Vaca Frita didn't disappoint. Can't wait for the next opportunity to enjoy their food and hospitality.
