Monty's Raw Bar

Love both locations and the fresh seafood and drinks are always amazing! Gave this four stars for the simple reason our waiter sucked! Ordered drinks, then asked some questions about happy hour. Went up to the happy hour boat and ordered shrimp, oysters and crab claws. We needed salt and waited for the waiter to show back up. He forgot and when we saw him again, drinks were empty, but he hurried and brought the shaker over and never bothered to look at the empty glasses. We waited and finally went to the bar and ordered two drinks. He came back and cleared our table but never asked if we needed anything else. We decided to sit at the bar and transfer the tab over. Saw the tab and he charged us for extra drinks. Bartender behind the bar was amazing and got the manager over. Told him what happened and he corrected the tab and apologized for what had happened. Customer service brother, that's what it's all about!

Very busy happy hour on Friday night. I enjoyed it a bit more later with a table, some good snacks and a drink. Fun location, had a good lunch there a few years ago when I was visiting Miami with my husband.. so its consistent

My family and I went here to relax, listen to music, and have an appetizer. It was busy but not packed. We had oysters which were very good but took over 20 min to get. The staff was not super friendly. I realized when I got the check why. Gratuity of 18% was included automatically. We always tip 20% unless the service wasn’t good and in this case I realized why the service was poor. They get 18% no matter what. I know this is a busy place and a staple of the area, but a little customer service goes a long way.

I had lunch here and it was such a splendid time. The service was top notch. “ Alex O “ made our whole experience THAT much greater. He was kind, fast and on top of everything. He had a lot of tables but manage to always stay on top of our wants and needs. The man is amazing. I will come back and ask for his section (I advise you to do the same). Now, aside from the great service..the food was good. The steak tacos were perfect. The Latin salad was so fresh and tasty (if your a fan of plantains then this is your dish.) the chicken avocado bacon sandwich was good. The churrasco was tasty. The calamari was fresh and lightly breaded which I enjoyed. The guacamole dip was also fresh (those salt lovers will need to pack it on themselves). The view at this place is great. You can walk around and admire the water, the board & the people. This is a great place for family and an older crowd but ultimately, anyone will enjoy this place.

Awesome place! Soothing reggae music and delicious seafood. Based on one my friends recommendations we ordered shark and bake and seared tuna salad, yum!!! Needs some renovation with the furniture and cleanliness but had a great time with friends. Slightly congested. do not accommodate big groups but overall, great experience and our waitress was excellent!
