Osteria Baiocco is doing only pick up orders. I ordered by phone, when I pick up the place was very clean, organized and following all the CDC rules for safety. The food was very good but the Hazelnut dessert was outstanding ????
Found it casually going down on Biscayne.
I’m from Rome but live in USA. In this place and in its dishes I found the flavors and the spirit of my home, in this little beautiful Osteria in Miami.
Go for the pastas, and the “fritti” as appetizers.
They are so authentic, I had to order a second plate of pasta.
Vast selection of wines. Very gentle service and great hosts at the entrance.
Thanks to Mr. Corrado for being a wonderful host for the night! Will be back.
Having Italian restaurants in just about every block in Mimo now has to push these restaurants to offer something very unique. We tried Baiocco on a Thursday night and the experience was quite disappointing. The service was not what we expected, very cold and not attentive at all. The food was fine, but not spectacular. Desserts were tasty.
The place and decor is cozy. Plates its Italian size ( not American). Need more options of beers. The service was excellent. A little pricey. And would be great if full bar was available.
Really cool place. It's in an old house so each room has a different style and vibe. The pasta is the real star if the menu. They make their pasta fresh in-house and you can really tell. The food did come really fast so I'm not sure if it is 100% made to order of if it was prepared ahead of time. Either way we all enjoyed it and will be going back.
