Pollo Tropical

I been going to this pollo tropical on and off for about 5 years now. Lately it has improved, not sure if it is under new management, because the staff that they used to have were down right hostile to the customers, they have friendlier people working there now.

The biggest problem is the drive thru though...wow is it slow. They need to have more than one person handling the drive thru orders. Right now what happens is that the same person is taking the order and processing payment, so they take one order, then stop to process payment from the driver at the window, so the next car in line is just sitting at the menu forever until the order has been processed....that whole time someone could have been taking their order so that they could start preparing it and have it ready sooner.

They played around with the chick fil a method one time and had people outside taking orders and payment and that seemed to help. It's hot in Miami so I don't want anyone fainting from the heat outside, but they need to do something to fix the drive thru.

My go to fast food place. Love it chicken brown rice, balsamic tomatoes and yuka frita. Outstanding food and prices are even better. Staff is legit and sweet folks. Very welcoming atmosphere.

Nice food. I little bit less portion than other pollo tropical locations.
