Puerto Riquísimo

Family dinner in this gem of a location in the middle of north cuba (aka miami).. so happy to have authentic Puerto Rican food which is delicious! Everyone left fat and happy. Food came out to the table fast and the prices were more than fair. Will definitely come back!

I’ve been contemplating on visiting due to its mixed reviews, however, I just had to try it for myself ! Let me tell you, the chicharron de pollo was to die for ! Cooked to perfection and immensely flavorful . I paired it with white rice and beans which was also very good. I also bought an order for my mom (who’s a hard PR critique) of arroz con gandules, y pernil and she loved it. I definitely recommend, and will be going back ! (Not sure if there were other cooks for the bad reviews but I believe the owner prepared my order)

Friendly folks! Truly wanted to like this place more…
The fried Alcapurrias leave you an after-taste of old frying oil. The shrimp empanadas are OK, but not to spend my “fried quota” on them. Prices are high. Hope they improve the frying… We need good Frituras!
