Amazing experience! The service from the door to the waiter was very inviting. Reservations are a must, because the restaurant is very busy but it's well worth the wait. Besides the host(didn't get her name), who was very helpful by the way the waiter impressed my family and I with the knowledge of the menu. Yes he gave a long overview of what was available but there was nothing he didn't know.👌🏾 As for the food, the prices are a bit high but they are well worth the value. Everything is prepared and seasoned with an African/Caribbean inspiration, and my family and I truly enjoyed it. The only downfall is this place is located in the heart of Overtown, which is a far distance from my residence. But however far you live it is definitely worth the trip at least once! As for me I will definitely be back soon 😉

On our trip to Miami Red Rooster was the one place that had it all. Great food, friendly service, AND Vibe for days! Loved it all! I had the shrimp and grits which was amazing and a little different from what I've had before. My friend got the chicken and wow is all I can say for that. So insanely good. Then the cookie skillet was the perfect dessert to finish it off. So glad we came here and cannot wait to come back! 6 out of 5 stars!

The food, drinks, ambiance and service was all amazing!! One of my new favorite restaurants in Miami. Definitely come with an appetite! We came with a medium size group so we could try lots of things and honestly I do not have a dish I did not love. The smoked chicken was moist and had an incredible flavor, the fried chicken was delicious, and the octopus was a favorite among the group. Also the restaurant itself is beautifully done - a big backyard covered patio and indoors it has great music, big bar and an overall unique and authentic vibe. Highly recommend!

A peak foodie experience.
I had the deviled eggs and the shrimp & grits.
Both were clearly what they were supposed to be, but also so novel as to be unrecognizable. Oh, they were excellent.
The best service I've had in a long time. Engaging without being intrusive. Knowledgeable. Friendly and upbeat. A joy!
The music was way loud in the main dining room. Be advised.
Easy parking on the side. Billed as "valet parking" but really just a guy who guides you to a space, takes your $ and watches the cars.

Black excellence, elegance. Simply amazing !! and such a unique, special vibe. The food is out of this world.Service was incredible. You could tell the staff really enjoys their job.I could go on all day. My new favorite place to dine. Miami has been long over due for a place like this.
