Royal Castle

I've been coming here from young & all of their food have been consistent. A must try! Small diner, Great food.

I have had breakfast here before here in the past. I've only gone once. It isn't a place that I'm breaking down their door to get to. I tried this place because I'd seen so many people on social media talking about it at the time. So I said why not.

I ordered the fried fish, grits, eggs and toast and everything was pretty decent. The grits and eggs required some seasoning but I don't see that as a negative because you never know people's taste buds. So it's best to allow them to put their own seasonings.

The restaurant was clean and it wasn't packed. Even though I called it in, I had to wait for it. Apparently calling in means nothing. The lady at the front was older and wasn't the most pleasant. However it was a Sunday morning and who really wants to work then?

Overall the food and service was ok. There's a restaurant in the area that I prefer and frequent that restaurant a lot. I like their food better.

Royal castle is okay everyone knows about growing castle and broadcaster is what it is. Old-time homestyle cooking. The only one left still here still cooking and the food is still good.

Would absolutely recommend trying this spot. Great character, yummy food, good customer service. 5 stars.

Have frequented this establishment many times in the past. Most visits have required a great deal of patience as food while very tasty is slow on delivery. On my visit today 9/19/19 service was exceptionally slow. I was able to place my order at 1025am. This was within 5 minutes of entering restaurant. The place was not crowded. Only three other patrons in restaurant at time my order was placed. Several coustomers came in and placed orders after me but left with their food prior to my order being prepared. At 1107am waitress was apologizing for the salmon patty not being prepared as originally ordered. At 1112am, 47 minutes after placing my order my food was ready. To me this is not acceptable and therefore a rating of 3 stars is being given.
