This spot is great! Affordable pricing, large portions and the employees are consistently super friendly.

Food was amazing. Place is unassuming and looks like a takeout joint with three or four tables. I had the stewed pork with cou-cou (corn meal like polenta), callalou, rice and peas. You can just taste the rice and peas alone and know the rest of the meal is going to be special. There are some real loving hands making this food.

As an American I must say, Sweet Hand Kathy’s is one of my Best Caribbean Restaurants. I have the pleasure of enjoying the food! Coming here since she first opened her doors and what a wonderful journey it is!! Love the Baked and Shark/Fish, Callaloo and Stewed Turkey! The Fresh Bakery is a must.

Love love love!!! My dad and I most definitely love the food here. We drive from Brickell to here just for the food. Being from Trinidad and finding good home cooked food warms my heart and tickles my tummy. So much flavor. I’m not even embarrassed to say that I eat every single thing on my plate! Lol keep it up and Kathy’s personality is so big that she must make you laugh. If you love West Indian food this is the place!
