We ordered pick-up twice and delivery. The food taste as good as my food. The food taste like the cooks love to cook. Taste and presentation is everything. We love that “The Licking” is on the South Miami Dade end. Now we have another restaurant for our Atlanta family to visit❤️

Loved all the staffs energy! The Licking has Charlie’s Angels behind the counter. The food was 11/10! Must try in Perrine

My children and I decide to try The Licking in South Perrine and I have to say it held up all expectations. The ambiance walking in was friendly and has a real vibe with a warm welcoming. The staff was really upbeat and friendly and interacted very well with customer. The music was on point, the visuals with DJ Khalid was lit. My children ordered the shrimp Alfredo and I ordered the chicken wings meal with a side of mac and cheese, candied yams, collard greens, peas and rice, the red velvet and lemon cake. We can’t forget our mystery drink and everything was hitting. We enjoyed every finger licking piece of every meal, oh so delicious. We are delighted by the love and dedication of chef and staff to making it a great eating experience. The kids were very happy and definitely gave you five stars. We can’t wait to be back for some more yummy home style cooking.

I ordered a Conch dinner with yams, Mac & Cheese, and a mystery drink Walked in with no line and didn't wait no more then 5 minutes for my meal even though the conch was in bite size peices and not the usual conch strip style It was good and well seasoned, the yams was amazing, the Mac & cheese was missing something (I want to say salt) but I'm aware that most restaurants don't use salt in the meals due to customers having their own tolerance levels for salt so it wasn't a really big issue (it was still hot creamy and fluffy with the baked cheese on top) the drink was good as hell too and very pretty (it tastes like the red white and blue popsicle you get from the ice cream truck I caint remember the name of them but if you know you know), over all it was a very decent price for the amount of food and sides that is given in fact it was so good I went in and got another plate we really needed a good soul food/ sea food restaurant in Perrine and I think this the mfkn one y'all❗❗❗

P.s The second meal took a little longer (bout a good 30 min) but the wait time was still reasonable I got another conch dinner but added shrimp and instead of yams collard greens the green was good and the shrimp was good but the food was not as hot as the first time around other then that it's still a must try I will be back🤝🏾❤️‍🔥

If It was something to change it would be more organized order fillers, and change the conch bite size portion into the strip size portions, add cornbread to the orders that come with collard greens
