Tomato & Basil

The pizza is really good from this place so don’t let the 4 stars fool you. I love that they do their specialty pizzas by the slice as well so you’re not up charged for additional toppings. My only reason for the 4 stars is because every time I have gotten a few slices to go on my way home from school, the lady who is working is always super judgy and gives me grossed out looks for adding extra cheese and garlic to my pizza. Don’t judge me lady! Garlic is delicious

We arrived at this restaurant for lunch. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was a winning. The staff members were extremely nice and we felt good. The meal was yummy. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Recommended.

I LOVE tomato and basil. Great prices. Quality food. Wonderful owner that truly cares. And I love when I stop in and her little girl is working in the kitchen. You can truly tell that the owner and her little girl helper put true quality above all else. Highly recommend.

If your in North Miami, I recommend a visit to Tomato Basil. They have a nice variety of food on the menu. Every time I dine there, I try something different. So far, I've really enjoyed each meal. Very good meals!

The service was good. The place has atmosphere, i.e. cute. This is why they did not get a lower rating. The food was just okay. There was nothing special about any of the flavors/textures (the dough, sauces, etc) of the pizza I ordered. The prosciutto was VERY thick. I have never seen it served that way before. It was so thick/chewy that I didn't eat it. I will have to give the other types of food in the menu a try to get a better opinion if the place.
