“It is great this place has opened. Now the other two need to be remodeled. Staff is still learning but all are very nice. The one item the staff needs to keep an eye on is customer service at the counter. One person can do a good job bouncing across the registers to ring up customers. But when there is 15 people in line for 10 plus minutes the other employees need need to come help for a few minutes or the person behind the counter needs to call for assistance. I have been in there 10 times with about half the visits with one cashier behind the counter with a line of five or more customers while two or three employees are going around doing other tasks. At least they are doing something productive. Part of the slow up is the weighing of ice cream. Maybe they are still looking for employees. It's a shame that there are so many thieves that come in there that steal that the side doors have to be locked after 9 or 10pm. I am sure they will get on top of service. Need to make an example of some of the thieves walking out with fountain drinks, ice cream and just about everything else.”

“The owners and staff are super friendly, and respectful even though I do not speak spanish. They try very hard to communicate efficiently. This is the 2nd time I've ordered food by the pound and we got the Imperial rice with yuca, plantains and salad. I also added 100 mini croquettes. The food was AMAZING, fresh and plentiful. The price was a bit cheaper than local competitors but the quality was delicious. The chicken was all shredded and breast only. This will be the definite choice for my next get together!!”

“If you're looking for a great bakery, this is it! My visit to this bakery was unplanned as I was going to the store next door to wax my eyebrows. As soon as I walked inside, the smell was amazing and I knew that wanted to try at least something. The baker is so sweet and welcoming. She told me she was baking coconut cake and I was surprised because I tend to get nauseous with coconut smells but it didn't happen this time. She provided me with a piece of the cake to try and I loved it! I was surprised once again because I avoid anything coconut. I saved a piece for my mom to try because it tasted delicious. I ended up getting a tamarind pie so I could share at home. I have never eaten something I bought so fast. The tamarind pie was delicious. This is the first time I buy something just based off the smell, especially as I don't really eat too many sweet things, but I'm so glad I decided to stop and buy something. I know for a fact that I will go back and try other pies from this bakery.”

“I was skeptical to order a custom cake from them for my son's birthday. It was a little last minute so the more known custom cake bakeries were either booked or way expensive. I called on a Monday and the woman who answered phone answered all my questions, swapped sample pictures with me by text while on phone, & took my order. On Saturday, I sent my husband to pick up my order. He walks in the door kind of serious & says "You have to see this cake." I was like uh-oh. AND then he puts this huge smile on and says "IT'S AWESOME!!!" Phew! Pinecrest Bakery saves the day. The cupcakes & cake pops looked great too. The cake & cupcakes tasted good. I wasn't much for the flavor of the cake pops, but the kids devoured them. I think maybe will specify chocolate next time on those. Two weeks later I went in for late night food on 4th of July. Minimal wait, staff there was happy and greeted me when I entered. I ordered a few sandwiches & box of pastries to go...their cheese & guava with cheese pastry both had plenty of cream cheese inside. Most bakeries are stingy with their cream cheese. I was very happy. I have shopped there a few times before for smaller stuff & have always been satisfied. Thank You!”
