Marathon Bagel Co Islamorada

I love the bagels here, the options, and the breakfast/lunch choices.

Prices are great, love the interior mural, and tables.

I used to go to the one in Marathon that is still there today, and now I come to this one often because it is right in my neighborhood.

Only issue is that I come here and many do very frequently. The staff is the same and I have an issue that they only refer to your order as a number, don’t call out the order, don’t learn your name, if you are a regular.

Restaurants that have far worse breakfast food will have return customers just because of the more personalized customer service.

If the staff starts learning regulars names, this business will soar and continue to be a staple in this community.

I love breakfast. It's my most favorite meal of the day. So I went to Marathon Bagel Co. - Islamorada. There's plenty to choose from here. A lot of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I went with the Belly Buster! This wasn't on the regular menu. Instead, it was listed on the chaulk board next to the counter. What a great breakfast sandwich! You choose your Bagel. I went with sesame. Then they pile on cheese, bacon, hasbrowns, sausage, and 2 eggs. I needed some hot sauce, and they happened to have little packets of tobasco. First of all the bagels here are fresh and delicious. The texture is perfect. Soft on the inside and a little chew on the outside. If anything, you could just get a bunch of Bagels and eat them. They're good. The rest of the sandwich was a perfect hangover type meal. The coffee was a breakfast blend type. Mild but goes with breakfast. Very clean restaurant and clean bathrooms. There is plenty of space to eat in or take it to go. Friendly staff and a very short wait for the food. This is one of the great breakfast places you need to try while in Islamorada. Thanks for the experience!

Once you eat here, you’d be absolutely insane to go anywhere else for bagels in all of south Florida. Or breakfast in general in all of the keys. I’m so happy they opened up a place closer north. If you’ve never had bagels from NY or Jersey before, now is your chance. There’s nothing like it. From their own cream cheese flavors, they’re perfectly baked bagels, and their quality breakfast options, it’s top notch.

I never had bagel anywhere tasty like this place. I'm in love with sesame bagel with onion cream cheese and put salmon on it was the best!!!! Good price and good service also I recommend. 👍

Great tasting bagel, perfect amount of cream cheese. All at a great price! Sorry for the picture of a mostly eaten bagel, it was so good I forgot to take a picture first. Definitely recommended for breakfast in Islemorada.
