Roadside BBQ at The Green Turtle Inn

Check this place out is all I can say. Great BBQ, huge portions and super reasonably priced. Ordered the two meat platter (brisket and pork) and it was enough for 3 people. It also came with corn bread and 2 sides (ordered Mac and Cheese and potato salad). This place is legit. I only wish the BBQ sauce wasn’t so generic.

We stop here regularly. The two meat platter is the best price for the portion size and probably the best price to portion size ratio in the area. I love the smoked turkey. It's always tender and flavorful, no need to dip in bbq sauce. My husband's favorite is the brisket. We recently tried the beef tri-tip and that was tender and juicy too. We like the ribs and pork also. On occasion if it's later in the day, the chicken may be a little dry. Once or twice something wasn't right with our order, we let them know and they hooked us up the next time we stopped by.

The platter is the better value. I got the 2 meat. The pulled pork, brisket, pork and beans, collards, corn bread. GREAT VALUE for the $.

Wow. One of the best bbq spots. The brisket was amazing. Awesome smoky flavor. Wish they were open later at night.

The sides we loved. But the meats were lacking the Smokey flavor we expected from the smells driving by. It was not bad BBQ, the cuts of meat were good and tender and not fatty. Just didn’t taste like it came from the pit. Unfortunately our chicken was luke warm.
