Island Dogs Bar

The food here was so good that my kids asked to go back. We went back and stopped our very last day there. Staff was exceptional, waitress was super helpful and great with kids. I had French toast and would highly recommend, it tastes great with fruit and was a generous helping. My girls got waffles and were stuffed. The breakfast burrito is a must try. The sauce on it was top notch.

So this is where we went and finally got our first conch fritters in Key West. They weren’t serving lunch yet but the bartender, maybe the owner, said no problem and fried some up for is while we had a few drinks. Loved the decor of the place. A very cool bar and grill. I highly recommend.

Nice place for breakfast. Can't speak for everything else. But it's a nice laid back place to start your day of wandering, drinking, and just relaxing. The breakfast hot dog is yummy.

We stopped at Island Dogs Bar during a cruise last week. I ordered a key lime colada, conch fritters, and key lime pie, all of which were incredible! Debbie, our server, was great too - personable and fun!

We did have to wait a few minutes to get seated, and we were the only one's in line, but it's a small joint with a small staff. If you are a bit impatient or in a hurry (or just a jerk), this place probably isn't for you. For the rest of us, this place is fantastic, and I can't wait to come back!!

When we first went there everything was great. We looked forward to going again during this visit. We went on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was about 25% occupied. There was a bartender and a server who was also seating people. We were initially upset about standing at the door waiting to be greeted and seated and felt as if we were being ignored until we noticed they were limited on staff. Our server was as attentive as she could, being the only one covering the tables. The food was good.
