Salute! On The Beach

On the beach...the server was incredibly friendly and gave great food recommendations. Absolutely the BEST mussels I have ever had...grouper / shrimp cake was a unique combo and delicious!! Will definitely make sure to stop in again on our next trip to KW!

We started of with calamari and it was the best I have ever had without a doubt. Meat Lasagna was FABULOUS as well.I am telling you INCREDIBLE. My wife had The muscles on linguine and she said it was INCREDIBLE like the best she has ever had

Located right on the beach with plenty of free parking in their lot (a rarity in Key West). We went here during a heavy rain storm for a late meal as we just got to town and ended moving to an inside table as the wind was blowing in the rain. Normally, the views and breeze would have been welcome as the ocean was right there. Our food overall was good, but some items came out Luke warm. The Grouper special was panco coated over a bed of risotto and delicious. My lasagna was cold in the middle and had to be returned for more heat. It was very good with a mix of ground sausade and beef, but the red sauce was a bit bitter. My son's burger was excellent with a nice seer, and he got the additional $5 toppings of prcutto chips, fresh avocado, and tomatoe. It was cooked to order at a correct medium. The key lime pie had a high marange topping but was not tart enough, and we would skip.

I had a delightful experience at Salute in Key West. The restaurant offers a stunning beach view, adding to the overall relaxing and enjoyable ambiance. Service was prompt and courteous, making our dining experience even more pleasant. The food was a highlight – every dish tasted fresh and was beautifully prepared. It’s clear that they prioritize quality and freshness in their ingredients. From the welcoming atmosphere to the delicious cuisine, everything at Salute was top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal with a view!

Great food, great atmosphere, great service! My family and I came here for lunch during our leg in Key West and it is no wonder that this is a favorite spot of the locals.

The hostess graciously cleaned off the table and chairs that had gotten rained on to accommodate our request to sit outside. Breathtaking views of Higgs Beach.

For lunch, we ordered the calamari appetizer, the shrimp sandwich, the red snapper salad, and the seafood pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious and super fresh. Very cordial and quick service too. For beverages, we ordered a piña colada and one of their local beers. Neither disappointed!

Pro-tips: you can get lovely views of the ocean from within the restaurant as well. Downtown is about a 45 minute walk or 10 minute uber ride.

All in all, I 100% recommend this gem of a restaurant during your visit to Key West if you are near Higgs Beach.
